“How you do anything, is how you do everything”
Completely, 100% true. This is more true than anything I have ever said.
It’s Day 2 of 21, I hope you all are going strong, still knocking out the daily tasks and winning the day!
We’re focused on the idea that how you do anything is how you do everything. It can have a different and specific meaning to others but for me, it means, how much I give, I will give in everything.
Not purely physical giving, but effort too. If I wake up and choose to not care about my morning routine, chances are I won’t care about the day. It’s a small subtle idea that you root in your subconscious mind, beyond your typical voice in your head.
It means having the character to do what is right 100% of the time, especially when it’s difficult. This is why most people also fail at diets, because they give a little leeway, and say “oh I’ve done well this week, I can have some”, and it doesn’t end.
That is why I have it strict wake up before 6, and no cheat meals, because what you allow in your head, sets the standard for all. I want you to be 100% your best self during this time. It requires some will, but it pays off one hundredfold.
So when you come to a struggle, a challenge against yourself, say “how I do anything is how I do everything” and do the hard choice. It’ll become easier and easier, and soon, you’ll naturally be your best self.
