“The person with the best habits and rituals wins” – Ed Mylett
Habits are the daily actions, both conscious and subconscious, that you complete almost daily. Often people choose what they do based on their circumstances, and what is easy to do.
Of course, they do it, it’s easy! Only those who have actively studied and looked at self Improvement become who they are supposed to be. Life is beyond difficult to look yourself in the face and say, “These are your problems, let’s handle them.”
It’s never that easy, to just stare down your insecurities, your shame, but I’m here to tell you you can do it. You are not limited by this world, but your own beliefs. That is it.
I myself struggle with my own panic-ridden mind sometimes, and truth be told, it gets the best of me often. I don’t wish it did, but sometimes I cannot handle it on my own. That’s why I have my previous laws to ideally surround yourself with positively driven people.
I myself have trouble doing this because those who are driven are not common in society, even in the rounds of achievers. So as a leader, I make it my goal to lead by example. I’ll stand up to my inner dragon, see him, and hug him. This dragon is my fear of failure, fear of failing myself in front of others. I acknowledge him and I let him rest, so I can begin to find other people that have similar drives. Perhaps I am just looking in the wrong place, or I have the wrong set of ideas.
All I can do is promise you I will find a way to define my habits likewise to those around me, so I can be better than anything I previously thought.
