Knowledge is futile without action.
Though simple, this quote can be hard to read.
The basis that all action, work, the struggle for knowledge, and wisdom, is useless without fulfillment. See, there is a reason for knowing things, and that is to use it.
Why would a college student go into debt just to obtain a diploma? Obviously, it isn’t for shits and giggles? Right?
I love this word futile; it just means so much to me as a simple little word that carries so much weight. And I use it to my advantage when thinking of what I need to do and strive for.
Often I get distracted in the research part of projects because all I want to do is avoid the hard task of actual work. I can always hide behind the wall that is learning. I need this mantra in my head to let me know that anything boils down to is work. Getting results and putting in actual time and work. Nothing more. Yes, having knowledge can give you the upper hand and define what you do, but at the end of the day it comes down to work.
With all this in mind though, make sure the goal is set and the pinpoint is accurate, work towards the wrong goal is also futile.
