My first and defining law is God is for us, not against us.
As a man in the Christian faith, I always need to remember and remind myself that my God is for me, not against me. This opens up my thoughts and goes beyond the mental limits I have set for myself in the past. It can be difficult to see sometimes that God is for us. Life is always going to get in the way, especially right when it seems to be slowing down. It seems in the most opportune moments, something always goes wrong.
That’s the truth, if something can go wrong, it will. It’s just a matter of how we react to it.
If I can focus on that God is for me, not against me, I can easily remember that we grow in the uncomfortable parts of life. The true struggles are what define us and make us better. Through trials and tribulation, we must stand firm in our beliefs, and in God.
This first defining law allows for me to do so.
